"Oh, you must go to your sister at once, Susan. I can get a girl from the cove, who will do for a time."

It looks like Telltale's caught up with itself after a bit of a shaky start earlier on in the year, and we've actually got Batman – The Telltale Series, episode 3, out on iOS at the same time as console/PC.

Batman – The Telltale Series follows Bruce Wayne as he faces a series of personal and professional problems; the sort that affects the Batman as well. Now we're into episode three, we've come across some iconic characters and have had to make some seriously difficult decisions, but we're about to see its outcomes in the most glorious way.

What I'm finding most enjoyable about this series is that Telltale is putting its own spin on it. I won't give much away but there's some definite grey areas that I wish had previously been poked at in the films, and I'm rather enjoying its dark nature. The constant switch between Bruce Wayne's psyche and Batman's is originally quite different, but as things progress what's to stop them from merging together entirely?

Grab Batman – The Telltale Series on the App Store now, and good news Android users, you can now enjoy the game on a compatible device on Google Play.

To be forbod the sweets that seems so good
Super cute team (trial version) MOD APK"Not that I knows on. Dunno's she ever saw any sweet-grass. No, it's because it has a kind of motherly perfume--not too young, you understand--something kind of seasoned and wholesome and dependable--jest like a mother. The schoolmaster's bride always kept it among her handkerchiefs. You might put that little bunch among yours, Mistress Blythe. I don't like these boughten scents-- but a whiff of sweet-grass belongs anywhere a lady does."
Updated 20th December, 13:05 PM: As it was tweeted out by Capcom Mobile yesterday, it looks like all six Mega Man titles will be hitting the west after all. You can pre-register on their website to be the first to know when the games drop on iOS and Android.
The first six Mega Man games are coming to iOS and Android in January. Pre-register - https://t.co/hC7xlyuHQo pic.twitter.com/WsjG4rVBzr— Capcom Mobile (@CapcomMobile) December 19, 2016
With the anticipated release of Super Mario Run over it looks like there're some classics coming to mobile as the entire Mega Man series is set to launch early next year.

Yes, Capcom has dabbled with the series before, throwing out new games that used the blue, pixel hero in titles that didn't really stick, but you can't beat a classic. After all, if it ain't broke - don't fix it.

From its first image we've got control of the player via virtual joystick on the left with three buttons with very clear uses on the right. This and the new layout of the health bars at the bottom of the screen at least shows that the game hasn't just been pulled up and slapped sloppily onto mobile. Capcom appear to have made a good effort in customising it for touchscreen.

I can feel the excitement of some and hear the groans of others as mobile grabs another franchise. All six of the 8-bit series are hitting mobile stores next year...but only in Japan. With a release date of January 6th 2017, there's still a bit of hope that we (in the west) could get our hands on it sometime in 2017, but we'll have to see.

Retro Basketball Coach 2021 is the latest game from Swipe Studios Interactive, who you may be familiar with from their previous games which include Swipe Manager: Soccer and My Baseball League. Their newest sports title is available now for iOS and Android.

Much like their other games, Retro Basketball Coach 2021 will be a more laid back and casual approach compared to the usual management sims. That means if you like the idea of managing a basketball squad but don't want to trawl through several spreadsheets, this game might be worth checking out.

Fresh to myself, if I had self-applied
Almost Human has now officially announced that its first-person PC dungeon crawler Legend of Grimrock will be coming to iOS.

We first heard of Almost Human's intentions to create an iOS port of Legend of Grimrock from a tweet back in 2012. We hadn't heard anything since and presumed that was due to the studio working on a sequel for PC.

It turns out we were right. Almost Human said in the announcement today that it didn't want just anybody working on the iOS port, and it was too busy to do it itself.

Luckily, a friend of the studio, Juha Pinola, stepped up and has been working on the port for a while now.

"The game isn’t just a direct port from the PC version of Legend of Grimrock," Almost Human said.

"We have always felt that the game wouldn't work on touch screens straight out of the box but needed a few custom mechanics to get the benefits of the touch interface."

As you can see above, Almost Human also released the first image showing Legend of Grimrock running on an iPad.

Regarding a release date, Almost Human could only say it will be ready "when it's done".
Dust the cobwebs
Now that we know for sure that it's coming, let's quickly go over what Legend of Grimrock is.

It plays a lot like the Atari ST classic Dungeon Master, actually. You control a party of four adventurers (of your choice) as one unit, and move in real-time across a 3D grid-based dungeon.

There are environmental puzzles to solve, lots of deadly traps to avoid, and of course, loads of enemies to battle. Expect to meet huge poisonous spiders, knights, and giant tunnel ogres face-to-face.

If you're looking for more information on the game, check out its official website.

Updated on October 3rd, at 12:19: Fancy this game on iOS? Zach says "I'd love to bring it to the iPad, but there's a lot of stuff standing in the way of getting that working.
"If the Android version does well, though, it might be worth pursuing."

Ironclad Tactics, the formerly Steam-exclusive Civil War card battler, is available now on Google Play.

By SpaceChem developer Zachtronics, Ironclad Tactics reimagines an alternate history Civil War, complete with a steampunky arsenal of military robots.

In between card battles, Ironclad Tactics tells the story of engineers Maxwell Prosser and Joseph Ashdown, in an interactive graphic novel style.

The game also features co-op story and competitive multiplayer modes, so you can play with or against your friends.

Download Ironclad Tactics for free on Google Play.

According to the developer, the mobile port was designed with tablets in mind, and may be too detailed to enjoy on a smaller phone screen.

All in all, it was a never-to-be-forgotten summer--one of those summers which come seldom into any life, but leave a rich heritage of beautiful memories in their going--one of those summers which, in a fortunate combination of delightful weather, delightful friends and delightful doings, come as near to perfection as anything can come in this world.
And supplicant their sighs to your extend,
My spirits t'attend this double voice accorded,

It's December! The year is on its last legs, it can feel the cold in its bones, and it's had a cough that it hasn't been able to shake since October! And all of that can only mean one thing.

That's right, it's time for the Pocket Gamer Advent Calendar. Every day between now and Christmas we're going to highlight a free game that you definitely should download.

It might be that the game's on sale, or it might be that it's free to download anyway. All of them come with a Pocket Gamer seal of approval though, and they'll all make your phone or tablet a little bit happier.
Anne laughed and slipped away to Lover's Lane, where Gilbert found her; and neither of them seemed to entertain much fear, or hope, that their married life would cure them of romance.
