<p>Solo developer Stefan Pratter is making Wicked Lair, which looks like it will please fans of the original Dungeon Keeper (emphasis on "original").</p><p>It involves building out a 2D multi-level dungeon as deep into the ground as you can, spawning horrible monsters, and then sending them out to destroy a town.</p><p>There are 20 different dungeon types and over 150 monsters to unlock and send off on a murderous rampage.</p><p>The town isn't helpless, mind. It will send out heroes to try to vanquish you and your dungeon. So it becomes a constant back-and-forth battle for power.</p><p>To help out your minions, you're able to learn spells as you level up to give the heroes an extra hard time. If they're getting through just fling a fireball at them - sorted.</p><p>Pratter says he's aiming for a "handcrafted retro look", and it's certainly pleasing on the eye. Hopefully we'll get to see it in motion soon.</p><p>Wicked Lair is slated to come out for iOS and Android in November. <p>Bethesda has filed a lawsuit against Warner Brothers and Behavior Interactive for stealing assets and code from Fallout Shelter for the newly released Westworld mobile game. In a report from TMZ, the newer Westworld game even has bugs from early versions of Fallout Shelter.</p><p>Westworld Mobile just launched this past week, heavily promoted by both HBO and the App Store respectively. You don’t have to look hard to find the similarities between Westworld and Fallout Shelter. The majority of the action in Westworld Mobile happens underground in Delos Labs, which, funnily enough, looks exactly like the vault you built in Fallout Shelter. Rather than helping settlers survive the post-apocalyptic hellscape, in Westworld, you’re building laboratory facilities to help your theme park above ground grow bigger and better.</p><p>Behavior Interactive, the folks who created Westworld Mobile, were also contracted to work on Fallout Shelter before the Westworld game came to be. Bethesda is accusing Behavior of taking the designs and code it created for Fallout Shelter and reusing them. Bethesda is suing with the aim of shutting down Westworld Mobile and receiving a portion of the game’s profits.</p>...
